And that wasn't the ONLY catch! I caught a Yellow Lab, too!

al,

Unfortunately, it was the catch...

Not only did I catch that whopper, but I caught a dog (yes, a dog--- a yellow lab which swam right down the middle of the river into my line and never batted an eye) AND I caught a large underwater rock.

I may post the photo of the dog I caught, too...

David,

A truly inspiring and worthy effort………………since when do you get time off to go fishing?

HA! Drew!

I was actually teaching at a summer festival (ARIA) at the time. The director, Mihai Tetel and I went out fishing on my day off. This trip has become a favorite story of Mihai's. (How often does someone catch a dog and a rock on the same outing? :-) I'm going to teach in his program in about 10 days. Its in the Berkshires at Williams College. Maybe this time I'll catch "the big one"!

Will you also post a photo of the rock you caught?

Haha! Well, at least your better than my brother. He caught a stick. (I, on the other hand, caught two trout.)

Ha ha! Nice fish, a keeper for sure! Might I ask where you were fishing, or was it a secret fishing hole?

I almost caught a German tourist by the lip tonight, but he got away...
