For Eric: I found Dutch violinist/violist Isabelle van Keulen
By the way: I spoke to Isabelle after a concert and she had never heard of the unrecorded violinconcerto of prince Nikolaj Youssoupow, a pupil of Henri Vieuxtemps. I found this name Youssoupow in an English music encyclopedia. I found recently his violonconcerto in a library and made copies and a scans of it. A colleague on my work made with Adobe professional of these scans a pdf-file of 700 kb. After printing this piece of 11 pages all notes were clear and of good quality. Who wants it and with which orchestra are you gonna record it, so I can add this violinconcerto-cd to my collection in the (near?) future?
Besides (and continuing in the usual over-dose of testosterone vein) I think Isabelle van Keulen definitely qualifies as a hot violin chix. She meets all the standard desperate male criteria: she's blonde, she plays the violin, she's female. :)
