Busy, Busy, Busy, BUSY!!!

December 11, 2005 at 7:45 PM

I'm now in Finals weed here at college and really the only classes I worry about are Ear Training and Spanish. Ear Training moreso than Spanish. Yesterday I had 2 juries and I must say that I will NEVER have 2 in the same day for 2 reasons. I am done with taking viola lessons after this semeter and sencond it's incredibly tiring. My violin one went very well. The rythm was dead on as well as the intonation except for one of the octaves. I also had a memory slip that lasted for about a bar and a half but otherwise it went well considering how nervous I get and the fact that I'm still sick with something which I have a inclination to believe it's because of something in my room.

My teacher has given me premission to start the Bruch g-minor Concerto over the next 6 weeks while I don't have a teacher. I'm also working on the Mozart A Major Sonata, and the Bach g-minor Sonata the Presto at the moment but I will be doing the rest of it in do time. I am also going to start the Romanian Folk Dances. I also need to start a new scale and all of the wonderful exercises that go along with it. I should also start a new etude and I think she wants me to move to the one above Kreutzer, the Rode 24 Caprices. So, I have a lot on my plate. I plan on doing a recital sometime next summer when I get home from my first year as a college student.

It's time for me to go study. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Unless we're speaking of a different Professor John Thomson, you have spelled his name wrong! This must be fixed at once! :-)~

Not suprising given your enhanced sensory abilities.
