I got it! I got it! I got it! I got my mandolin! Yay I'll post pictures later.
I think todays the day. When my dad gets off of work we go. YAY! I can't wait. Now all he has to do is get off early enough that we can go. And then Cascade Music has to still have the mandolin there.
I've hated practicing vioin this week, for some reason it's been a chore for me. I wonder if I still like the violin. But I really want a mandolin that's what's taking all my focus since I don't have one yet. Hopefully this weekend.
I have to decide which to do the SAT or the ACT. Maybe someone out there with some experience can help. What I need is the pros and cons. What each is about. That kind of thing. Thanks.
I hope I get my mandolin soon. But I guess I should stop dwelling on that. I love school kind of. I've been stressed out about Plane Geometry since I've never taken a geometry course I have no clue what I'm doing. AHHHHHHHHH! And that scares me. Since I've been the student on top of things. Even when I was taking algebra and I didn't know it I understood it really fast. So now for some reason the abstractness of proving that two triangles are congruent is really mind boggling. It's driving me insane. I can't wait till I graduate next year. And go to college. Yes!!!!!! For MUSIC!
I now have to wait
I am very impatient
I want it right now
Here goes:
I want a mand'lin
Really really really bad
I want a mand'lin
I'll have to wait two more weeks before I can get my mandolin. :-( I'm so sad.
I'm alive! My parents reluctantly let me drive home from church. I will recount some of the events.
1. I pulled out of the church parking lot at about 20 mph. Which is really fast for my first time out in the city. My second time behind the wheel.
2. I took this weird swervy turn really fast. But my foot was off the gas. I was still going 25. Scary, cause there was a Hummer behind me.
3. I got home safely but sweating profusely.
I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah. I knew I could. I passed my drivers permit test. Yay! I got 21 correct, 1 wrong, and passed on 3. I accidently passed on one of them because my hand was shaking badly. But I passed. And I passed the vision test easily. So everyone needs to be careful, becuase I'm on the road now. LOL! I'll hopefully get my mandolin Monday. Yay!
I'm not really sure of the brand, but my theory is something is better than nothing. it'll be electric acoustic, and mostlikely about $155. Which isn't bad. I have about $200. And I don't plan on buying it on the internet. So I'll hopefully post some pictures when I get.
I'm so excited in a week I'll be able to get my instruction permit. YAY! And on that same day I'll get my mandolin. 2xYAY! So excited.
