Violin Practice

April 27, 2007 at 7:12 PM

I've hated practicing vioin this week, for some reason it's been a chore for me. I wonder if I still like the violin. But I really want a mandolin that's what's taking all my focus since I don't have one yet. Hopefully this weekend.

Its been a chore for me to practice violin this week also... I guess its because I'm extra tired since I go with mom to all her treatments.

I think the same way sometimes.. I think it is mainly because of the etudes. I do etudes all the time. Another part of it for me that my teacher underestimates me which really annoys me...

Practice isn't much of a chore to me. Maybe if I had something hard to work on it would be. But the solo I have right now I could play in the matter of minutes..

Everyone feels that way from time to time. I do, and until this week have never had a break. My routine is taxing, and some nights it's jeeez----just let me get finished. And then I'm renewed, somewhere and somehow, and back into things.

These things go in cycles. There's good days and there's average days based on a lot of things. And this doesn't only apply to violin. I say this because I have alot of avocations.
