Joshua Bell isn't human. There is no way I could ever play the Caprices from the Red Violin. I ordered them because I was curious and wanted to see what they were like. I saw them... and now I want to cry.

Thank you.
You have said in *counts on fingers* four words what took me an entire class period to say. Maybe it was just because I was trying to explain it to a violist from a different school :)

You mean the solo that 'paganini' plays in the film? Id like to have a go at that!

I've always thought it must be so nice for composers like Corigliano to be able to write whatever they want and know their visions will be realized in the hands of something like Joshua. I alternate between being disgusted by him and being inspired by him, but mostly, I just adore him. :)

Oops, I meant to write "someone like Joshua," not "something like Joshua." Hmm, Freudian slip, maybe he isn't human?!
