The violin concerto of Alban BERG (1885-1935) written in 1935 is non-harmonic and there are not so many recognisable rithmical things or themes which are comming back. It lacks structure. There is a woodwinds outburst and than a stolen piece of Bach, but he does nothing original or new with that melody. Personally I like more the violin concerto(2007) of Jeppe Moulijn (1972) which has more structure I, simple soul, understand easier.(also hereunder the 2th movement)
