HEADS UP...$TRING PRICE$ ON THE RISE???

June 12, 2009 03:51

I'm not sure if this is an omen, but yesterday I received the "new" 2009-2010 catalog from a string supply dealer (rhymes with Cosmopolitan)...VIOLIN $TRING$ HAVE GONE UP IN PRICE an average of $25-$30 per set. Now, I only looked at Eudoxas. Olivs, Evahs, and Obligatos but this is surely a steep increase. I do not purchase my strings from this company because they are always a bit higher than Shar and others, but this has me thinking....time to stock up!!!
