The music club that I am in at school called Tri-M has a recital tomorrow. Most people in the club are participating, including myself. I will be playing Minuets I/II from Partita No. 3.

I hope that it will go well. I wanted to play this piece because I am using it as a part of my audition material for Franklin Pond this summer. I want to get used to playing it with nerves so I can find out what I really need to work on.

I am also using the first movement of Haydn's Concerto No. 1 in C with Flesch's cadenza for the audition, plus the two excerpts that can be found on http://www.franklinpond.org

One the excerpts is from a Mozart quartet, and the other is from a Schumann quartet.

well, that is about it. I have a recording of Milstein playing the Minuets from Partita No. 3 that I will put on here.

I hope you play it as well as Mistein does (at least :-)
