I get to learn Symphonie Espagnole. I've got the first page down. That's good for a week. Next week I'll get the second page down. There's 21 pages, so that's 21 weeks, about half a year. Wow, that's a lot of time. Maybe I should shoot for two pages a week. Over the summer I could get a lot more done. I usually practice three hours a day during the summer. Right Now I'm practiing maybe three hours a week. Stupid homework. Oh well, Symhponie Espagnole is so awesome. The G minor arpeggio with the major sixth in it is so much fun to play. The hardest part (on the first page) is getting the very beginning in tune. All is have to say is wow, and is Symphonie Espagnole a "Violin Concerto" or what? Could I possibly play it for a concerto competition?

Yep, Symphonie Espagnole is a concerto, although not to be confused with the Lalo Violin Concerto (they're different!)
