I'm in the middle of trying to buy a bow and I think I've found the one I want. It's a red french made bow with a nice weight distribution and it produce a very bright sound out of my instrument. I even sight read the Beethoven VC with some bows (very slowly of course). I'm pretty sure that this bow is the best.

I read the thing under Laurie's blog about the machine orchestra: very tragic. It's quite rediculous that people would stoop that low. It's almost worth the sacrafice of computer technology to have a poor paying job.

Oh well...
