I'm fresh back from a fun three-day course on Non-Linear Video Editing and I'm trying to get back in the groove at work as I type this. You can check the photos from my photoblog here.On my way to the office, I passed by a church and said a short prayer of thanks... for life in general, for just being alive.
When I got to work, I turned on my computer and went straight to violinist.com.
I love looking through the forums every day because there's always something new to learn and interesting people to meet.
Everyday, there are little miracles going on on the v.com message boards: Perfect strangers offering words of encouragement to an adult beginner... people pitching in to help a college student continue her lessons... talks about loved ones lost and fondly remembered... even the occasional inspired work of poetry!
I initially joined violinist.com to learn more about how to play the violin, but I got so much more in return: it's always reminded me why life is worth living, and why I'm thankful to be alive.
