A video with my viola being played by Roberto Diaz during the International Viola Congress

June 29, 2010 at 10:35 AM

During the recent International Viola Congress Roberto Diaz played violas and bows by contemporary makers, a tour de force, about 35 violas and bows, it took about one hour and twenty minutes!!!. First a scale, than some Harold in Italy, then the beggining of Schubert`s Arpeggione sonata, here the video of my viola (from my humble camera):

Bravo Luis!

You DO create such magic.  Like I said earlier, you must be a very special person to let something so beautiful go to another person.  I couldn't do it.  I'd have to keep them all for myself.

Thank you all!!!

Yes, it is difficult selling...  but last week in NYC I had no time to get emotional about my instruments, sold 3 violas in 5 days! One went to the NYC Opera, other to the associate concertmaster of the same orchestra, and the third to a Karen Dreyfus' student at the Manhattam School of Music.
