Frustration

Are there times that you just want to smash your violin into the ground? I'm so frustrated with practicing and seemingly going nowhere that I wish I could toss my violin off the Empire State building. I would never do that of course, but just a thought.

Welcome to the crowd of frustrated violinists who are not Heifetz. You are lucky that you only have an occasional day like that. Just wait until the sun comes up again and let it pass.

I would have done that during lessons tonight, but I was too tired.
