I now play 11 instruments! The penny whistle is the lucky winner.

You could probably play the Jew's Harp without much trouble if you tried and could add a 12th.

Which key? D or C? From this starting point you could rack up the numbers without too much effort.

D, but I don't count instrument numbers. I count instruments a it self. Like I have 6 harmonicas but I don't count that in my count.

I play the whole penny whistle family, the penny, nickle, dime, and quarter whistles. They transpose so the fingering is the same though.

IMHO D is a good choice, because lots of Irish and Scottish folk music is written in D. I also play D whistle. The fingering is close to descant recorder, which a lot of us learned in primary school. The beauty of the whistle is you can put it in your pocket - you can't get more portable than that.

This is so ironic....
I found my piece and um...
maybe it is because your post on Brahms got me going in that direction.
Ever heard the Brahms sonata for viola and piano op.120 in Fminor?
Played by Primrose and Kapell?

Yea!!!
