I'm looking forward to hearing him play the Tchaik in September even though, as he stated in O Magazine, emotionality is more important than technique. (?!?) Try to communicate emotion in the Tchaik Cto w/out a good command of technique!

Pauline, I reread the O magazine excerpt and I don't see where Joshua says that. In fact, I've heard him say the exact opposite in interviews. But trust me: there's NOTHING wrong with his technique when he plays the Tchaikovsky.
