Julia Fischer's new CD, 'Poème' Julia Fischer made a cd with 2 relatively well known and 2 relatively unknown pieces with conductor Yakov Kreizberg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakov_Kreizberg who died recently 51 years old. He also worked with another wellknown violinist Hilary Hahn. With our band we played on a book-market in Dordrecht near Rotterdam.
With a lot of people I saw the biggist show of Andre Rieu, the most popular violinist in the world, in soccerstation Arena Amsterdam on 13-6-2011 with the Schoenbrunn castle of Vienna, 650 windwoodplayers, dancers and icedancers form Vienna, foutains, bagpipeplayers, balloons, a Dutch folksinger, singersoloists and a lot of eldery people with rollators and wheelchairs in the public. He played not only waltzes but also Ben Hur, Verdi + Resphigi:
