Soon I will play my last 2 concerts this half year with Prokofiev 1th violinconcerto. The soloist is the Rusian Sergey Arseniev.
Biography
My name is Sergey Arseniev. In 1982 I was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. At the age of six I have been admitted in the Special Music Lyceum attached to the Rimsky-Korsakov conservatory in Saint Petersburg.
My first concert abroad has been in the summer of 1996 in Mikkeli, Finland. I played there one of my favourite violinconcerto's, Lalo's "Spanish Symphony". In the same year I have been taking part in masterclasses given by Igor Ozim and Monica Ubaniac in Bern, Switzerland. I followed more masterclasses with Professor Ozim in 1997 in germany and Austria. In 1998 and 2000 I succesfully participated in international competitions in Israel en Bulgary, where I won second and first prizes.
My first stay in Holland has been in the summer of 2000, when Herman Krebbers gave masterclasses in Bergen. I performed there Wieniawsky's "Faust Fantasy". In 2001 I have been graduated in Saint Petersburg. After that I got the opportunity of continuing my studies in Holland in the North Netherlands Conservatory with Professor Emi Ohi Resnick. The last years I have been performing as a soloist with the NNC Chamber Orchestra. In 2002 I won the second prize in the Prinses Christina Concours and I have been nominated for the "Harten Aas Cultuur Prijs" from Holland Casino. I also participated in chamber music masterclasses given by the Rubin Quartet and the Menuhin Festival Quartet.
In 2004 I have played Tchaikovsky Concerto accompanied by Jelle Hogenhuis Flute Orchestra. We had two performances and one of them was live broadcasting from Spiegel Zaal in Amsterdam Concertgebouw in sunday morning programm of radio 4.
