I met Mozart and new girl-friend in Wien + a new car in Budapest

Hi. On holiday I met Mozart himself who was promoting his Kugeln. Also I met my new girl-friend.

I think Andre Rieu would like this foto of the Walseking of the golden statue of Johann Strauss. It was very difficult to take a foto without Japanese or Amerikan tourists who were swarming around this foto-populair statue. More statues of composers later.

In Budapest I first sat in a Trabant in a park with statues from the communist period. Later on I drove in a real Trabant from the owner of a bar behind a railwaystation near the Balatonlake

I'm glad you're having fun on your holiday, and I like your new girlfriend.

Trabbies!

I should scan my fotos of trabbies that I took while in Warnemuende 8 years ago. They were still everywhere then. And there were plenty of Latas too.

By the way--what is in the spokes of your front wheel in that foto?

In the spokes in the frontweel there is a flyer of the shop where we hired the bikes near Prater in Wien. We made a big tour through the city, because it is difficult to park your car in the centre and the city is too big for walking.

Bram, your new girlfriend appears to be quite attractive, but there's always the important question of:

How's her ...
