foto's from Bruton

July 7, 2006 at 10:41 AM

I played in May with the amateurorchestra Capita Selecta the violinconcerto of Barber with soloist Jurjen Soeting in Bruton and in the cathedral of Bath in England. Here a foto of me during an rehearsal of the orchestra in the memorial hall (with the names of the death of the 1th and 2th World War of Bruton on the drak wooden wainscot on the wall, as you can see on the first foto)of the highschool of Bruton. It was quite cold, so I played with a coat. Some one else took some pictures, during a free-nonrehearsal day of a statue of Mozart and put it on internet with some other foto's ofhis/her time in Bruton. I have not seen this statue in England, but Mozart also plays violin with his coat on.

Looks like frat boys stole Mozart's bow.
