I heard in concerthalls last month :Violinconcerto’s Taktakishvili2, Paganini1, violinconcerto Van Bree , world premiere performance
June 30, 2006 at 10:59 AM
From 2 amateurorchestra’s I heard violinconcerto’s of Taktakshvili2 and Paganini1. Takatakshvili2 was from a studentorchestra. I discovered it too late, but I am too old for this orchestra. Paganini1 was from another orchestra, during which I had rehearsals of the Sibelius-violinconcerto.
Otar Taktakishvili - Georgian composer
Born 27 July 1924 in Tbilisi. Died: February 1989. Studied at Tbilisi Music College from 1938-1942 and then at Georgian State Conservatory in Tbilisi from 1942-1947 (under Barkhudarian).
Concerto No. 2 for violin and chamberorchestra (1987)

Niccolò Paganini
Genua 1782 – Nice 1840

And a world premiere performance of
Johannes Bernardus van Bree
Amsterdam 1801 – Amsterdam 1857
From a professional orchestra. I forced my back when I change a wheel of my car next to the highway. Because I had an early appointment with a friend I did not miss the WORLD Premiere playing of the violinconcerto of the Dutch composer van Bree in Amsterdam. It was in the style of Mendelssohn and the organisation will sent me a cd of this violinconcerto in one piece.
But there were only 40 persons in the public, less than the number of musicians.
