Now I am sending every week a mail with heavy attachments from around 1,5 Mbyte to a list of 100 recipients, amateursorchestra's, professional orchestra's and national and internatianl violinists, like Joshua Bell, Vadim Repin, Anne-Sophie Mutter. Because of the heavy attachments only 3 people wanted to be removed from the mailing list (one of them the friend of Janine Jansen Julian Rachlin, because he was touring and didn't have enough capacity for such hugh mails), but I also get enthousiastic reactions. The 2 or 3 violinconcerto's I have scanned on pdf and are of good printing quality. I also give a link of amazon.com and a foto of a cd, where you can hear soundfragments from Window media by clicking in the mail.PART1 Why are these rare violinconcerto's never been played or seldom recorded?
Hello musicians,
You probably know the evergreenviolinconcerto’s of Bruch, Brahms, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, etc. But there is more and it is not always second rank, I think. Here you can have a look in the sheetmusic and there are also some rare recordings of them with soundsamples if you scroll down the link. So perhaps after this promotion action of me and perhaps your attention, they will become also populair again, like the (too) much played well known violinconcerto’s?
Best regards Bram Heemskerk
