SLIGO LIVE 2008 !!!

Met Liz Carroll @ Sligo Live 2008 ..
went with my son.
at intermission was talking w/dezi donnelly,michael mcgoldrick and john doyle outside of the church where they played @ the clarion hotel in sligo,ireland !!!
liz carroll was soo much fun to talk with---she is first rate in all ratings !
went to doolin--the carnegie hall of irish music in ireland and heard some great music which was classified as ceili music...
went to ennis,ireland---60 bars !!!
brogans is the best for trad. in ennis !!!
Ireland reeks w/trad music !!!!!!!!
the people are lovely and they have music in their hearts and souls.
many fiddle,flute,box accordion players and percussionists involved in the scenario..
liz carroll [all ireland fiddle champion] was a complete joy to talk with !!!
liz said "you do not have to read the music,its just that you can play"...
oh,what a marvelous time to go to the emerald isle with my son----family is what its all about for me !!!
twas windy as hell,upward waterfalls at the cliffs of moher !!!

What do you mean by "upward waterfalls"? I googled "cliffs of moher" and found no mention of upward waterfalls. I did see some beautiful photos of the cliffs.
It was very windy,so windy that the wind created a waterfall about a foot wide that traveled up the mountain and over the sidewalk.
Ahh, well Ireland is nice - but have you been to Scotland yet?! ;-)
