Note to Self - Rosin

May 14, 2007 at 3:19 AM

Don't be afraid to apply more rosin on the bow when needed. When do you know more rosin is needed? When the strings don't respond! (Duh!)
I can be such an idiot sometimes.

Theory Exam on Wednesday. Still haven't decided if I want to memorise the 3 stupid folk songs or just let go of the 8 marks.

The best part is when you're doing an audition with a heavily-rosined bow and it stars to "smoke"....and it just looks freakin' awesome when you're doing string crossings....:)

I think it would be fun to rig it so you could actually catch fire when you reach a certain bow speed. Or has that already been done? I bet someone already beat me to it.
