Well I guess the most exciting music related news is that I got all the approval and funding to start a Tri-M chapter at my high school. All the paper work is being put together this and next week.

But then, completly of the subject of music, yesterday there was an explosion and fire at one of the gas stations in town. No one was killed (only one person was hurt), but it was exciting. Appearently they were transfering fule, and it sparked from static and it exploded. Also, since my high school is the main evacuation center, there were plans to move all the students if the firs spread and anyone else had to be evacuated.

Well, thats all for now...

That's amazing how dangerous one spark can be. They should have been more circumspect.

Thats awesome that you are starting Tri-M at your school. I just got inducted into the club last year. It was really nice and all of the new inductees played a solo piece.
