Days, weeks, months, years fly by with a small cringe in one's stomach. I kept looking at v.com in my spare time wanting to write, but there was always that stupid essay due the next day....
My mom visited AU (Alfred University) for the first time on Friday (4/25/08) for the famous Hot Dog Day. That same day, she watched me receive a scholarship and award for honors, Dean's List, and COntribution to the student newspaper. Hip Hip Hooray. From there, we rushed over to the Fiat Lux (student newspaper) Banquet, and smashed our faces with Lasagna. Good times.
I then went to rehearsal for the orchestra concert set to begin at 8pm. The concert went really well. My mom said, "It was worth me driving those five hours." Trust me, my mom is the critic that you shake in your boots over, so I was pretty happy when she said that.
Well, thank you for accepting me to the v.com community again even though I forsook you for essays, articles, all-nighters, exams, classes, internships, and recitals.
Until next time....
What a thrilling time of life it must be for you !
Congratulations on such fine work so far and I'm sure you will finely proceed with your career in future !
Joe....
