After six years my teacher has suggested that I started looking for teachers elsewhere...particularly in the L.A. area. (i'm from San Diego) She didn't give any names but to check out teachers from Colburn, USC, LA Phil, etc... I found two so far...Pamela Goldsmith and John Hayhurst. I've e-mailed both but so far have only heard back from Ms. Goldsmith. My questions is does anyone know how these two musicians are as teachers? They both teach at USC so I'm sure they're both very good. Does anyone have suggestions for any other wonderful viola teachers in the L.A. area?
I'd greatly appreciate anyones input!
Paul
