I've had awful roommates too, but it isn't necessarily bad. My husband had the same college roommates for four years and we're all still best of friends 10 years later. Try to keep an open mind, who knows what'll happen.

Whoa. I was assuming you were Asian this whole time, and I just now saw your picture. What kind of name is Paa? Eastern European, maybe?

Oh Pauline, always so encouraging! Haha, what a character.
I'm sure that it'll be a blast! Good luck.
Hav they never heard of privacy?? I can't believe they expect you to share a room with someone, that's so bad, I hope you're only paying half the rent now! I hope for your sake that they don't snore or have loose morals :oP
Hey man roommates can be great. Partners in crime, someone to split the bar tab with, and most importantly someone to answer the phone and give a cover story to your folks when they call and you are out being evil.

Hello Karin, I get the asian thing a lot. It is European. My dad has a suspicion that it was shortened quite a bit when my family arrived over in the United States. It was most likely a longer German name.
My roommates at camp, Natasha (a blogger) and Kerah (a reader/commenter), were awesome! Roommates aren't all bad.
yeah.. who knows they might end up being a great friend! :) if not... someone you can blame stuff on, haha!
