had an audition for a pit orchestra today with the associate dean of my conservatory. he told me that if there weren't other people that he needs to hear, he'd have given me the job on the spot (yes, a job, not just an orchestra class), but he did offer me a position in the orchestra for the Music Theatre Ensemble's production of "City Of Angels" this Spring, so I'm thinking that's a good sign... I hope... because either way I'm stuck in Winchester all summer and I really really really really really really don't want to have to wait tables or something like that. So everyone cross your fingers for me!
and I'll try to update more often.
