wow i've not written in a while...well the bruch is coming along very well, and i'm on the very last of mazas, about to delve more seriously into kreutzer and junk before i'm off to school next fall.
have a youth orch concert in a few weeks with a pretty hefty program, donizetti's don pasquale overture, the dvorak new world symphony, and beethoven's triple concerto... i figure if i can make it through that without my arm falling of it will be a miracle! beethoven is soooo hard. it's just so difficult to play, i'd venture that it's more difficult than the dvorak.
one month until graduation! finally! then i'll have all kinds of time to practice... boy that'll be nice. i'm hoping to step it up to 3-4 hours a day over the summer so i don't all of a sudden go insane with practicing in college.
sooo soo ready for school to be over, ready for orchestra to be over, ready for all my commitments to go out the window so all i have to focus on is violin and having fun!

well remember that competition i was stressing over a while ago (Well if you don't then scroll down a little bit).well i (finally) got some feedback from them yesterday...
a sheet of paper folded thrice over which was obviously the same thing (except for the name) they gave to everyone who didn't win the competition...
oh well, gotta roll with the punches...
