Brass, Orange, and School

September 25, 2006 14:38

I have just recently been chalenged by some friends to start trumpet. I don't know if I will. But it's a good possibility to try and expand my horizon. If I do start, this will complete my little orchestra.

Strings:
Violin
Cello
Guitar

Woodwind:
Clarinet

Percussion:
Piano

Brass:
None yet

Most people think I am incapable of doing this, but I would like to prove them wrong. Most people thought I wouldn't be able to play violin at all. But it doesn't matter because I proved many people worng.

If anyone is so kind as to have a copy of Orange Blossom Special and would be willing to send it to me I would be very grateful. Not the vocal version. I am referring to the really hard fiddling version. I have some people who want me to learn it. Thank you.

What is a subject that you hate the most and like the most?

I want a grand piano.

I have just got a new shoulder rest. Yay for me. I am so happy. It is a KUN Collapsible. It has improved my playing and sound quality very much.

School

September 6, 2006 09:51

School has begun for many I'm sure. And my blogs will of course sl0ow down. I have, if you've read my blogs, been doing school through the summer with A Beka Academy. They also cover the string basics which I hope to start in January.

In violin I hope to excel far. I have lined up a series of specials for Christmas this year. And maybe a cello or clarinet. I don't quite know yet. And then I have to make my own arrangements. Which I don't do to well.

My pervious piano teacher found out that I could sing moderately well. So I might have to sing this Christmas. Which I hate.

Well I better stop talking.
I want a grand piano, if you would like to donate just e-mail me. HA-HA.
