Weight versus Pressure Simplified

October 17, 2015 18:42

Haven’t written a blog entry in a long time, but I thought that this one might be worth it. I was teaching an adult student about a week ago, when all of a sudden this question about weight versus pressure came up and in an instant, a very simple way of describing it came:

Weight sits
Pressure = fingers push in

And, avoiding pressure avoids tension since you need to tense up to press. Probably the simplest way I have ever thought of looking at is. And, the simpler it is, as always, the less complicated it is!

Cheers!
