Celebrate Classical Music

August 16, 2012 21:52

Hey! Classical music doesn't just say culture for me. It's a style of music that set a high standard in performance. A lot of musicians I grew up with from different styles of music, either admired or learned baroque and classical solo works. Bach was a major influence in his time and in my generation, it wasn't about media papparazzi. It was about fine performances and playing well. I can imagine in Bach's, Mozart's, Paganini's and Tchaikovsky's time, there were little entertainment alternatives. The music had to be good, there were no video games, tv, internet or radio. I hope we can improve the orchestra and awareness. We want to be known and remembered in our generation for fine performances, not Lady Gaga getting naked or Madonna carrying guns! lol
