The Met.

November 12, 2007 21:20

La Traviata 11/10/07

The Met NYC.
Renee Fleming
Met Opera Orchestra [in pit]
Levine visible,at times...Renee sings___people yell "Bravo"--then clap,then yell,then yell more...then yell again.

everything quits,Renee Fleming sings again,solo--------you can hear a pin drop--applause---absolute bedlam again of applause...

150 people suddenly appear on stage---all with a role----mostly singing, mostly dancing and mostly anything goes and goes well----very well !

Love continues, between a "fallen woman" and her lover....

bonds become broken--because of the intervention of Alfredo's father.....

Renee Fleming sings---------people in audience are completly overwhelmed again...

violins enter---Renee Fleming sings again---the musicians in the pit respond---accordingly....

the fantasy is over---all move to the fountain---outside----

reveling in their own splendid dreams..

the opera is finished...

the dreams of the Opera will last continually within the minds of the attendees,as well as the participants...forever !~~

So,for now---life is good---very good..

Renee Fleming is at the top of the list----------- "at least for this week". [her quote...]

Tout est bien qui finit bien... !!!!!!!!!
