Jam Session

October 9, 2007 18:19

Jam Session:

no amps,
3 guitars,
upright bass,
sax,
fiddle.

such fun, strings feeding off strings !
someone says,"i need an intro"---so i do the intro w/fiddle...
someone nods in my direction,as it's my turn to play---so,i play and it is SUCH a RUSH---for me AND the others !
sax comes in,taking the tunages down to the basement of the blues, every instrument joins in-
several solos by upright bass player.
everyone does solos on their piece.
a 'song' lasts 1 hour of a jam.
we do 2 'songs' eat something
then do 2 more hour pieces.

no notation------all from the heart....

great musical, sporting adventures to be found in this genre + it's tons of fun !!!
