Twilight Zone

November 5, 2006 22:38

I have been practising Paganini's Perpetum Mobile using the metronome, slowly increasing the speed. Lately I found that after playing a few measures (bars) the metronome seemed to slow down and that I've entered into a different time zone. Once I've stop, the metronome was ticking at the normal speed again.

It's such an odd feeling. Anyone had the same experience?
