Inspired by Christian Vachon and Nate Robinson who recently posted videos from their recitals, I decided to do the same. Here are two videos from my recent recital at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, of the Brahms A Major Sonata and the Beethoven Sonata #1 in D Major. I hope you enjoy them.
These two sonatas are both very old friends. I've known them both since high school and played and practiced them both countless times on both instruments, but this is the first time I have actually played them in recital.
I am fortunate to be playing with the wonderful pianist, Yeeha Chiu. When we play together I am absolutely at my best and most free and expressive. It's phenomenal when the chemistry is so strong.
