I got so much help on my bow arm today. my chamber coahc is really good. and being a weel known violinist, he helped me with a lot. im loving the ravel quartet. borodin is great too. we rehersed it on stage today. there's just this one part is the ravel and one part in the borodin that i have GOT to be on the lookout for the other players....got a lot done though.

camp is going really well. my chamber coach is really helping me alot on the ravel quartet and borodin 2nd quartet. he studied with erick friedman. im working on my bow arm....blahhhh soooo boring! oh well.

first day of camp was today! it was sooo fun! my stand partner goes to juilliard....shes really nice :). i am playing ravel string quartet and borodin 2nd string quartet. the borodin was pretty easy.but that ravel! wow! incredible music! hard tho...but i got through the 1st mvt. (which w'ere playing) alive. the teacher is really good. he was impressed with my playing. but i have little bits to work out(listening to others...even though i was sightreading....) fun stuff.

im horrible im horrible im horrible im horrible....everything is so awful.bow arm. rhythm.phrasing.im so bad why am i so bad? ughhh...well, maybe i should just work and stop feeling sorry for myself.

well, i practiced 5 hours yesterday and 4 hours today. all these etudes are gradually helping. i have to have patience though. at times my concentration gives and i get off track and stop paying attention. i have to learn to keep working and working and concentrating on my weaknesses so that they can be fixed. my weaknesses are gradually getting better, i mean, its only been two days....so i guess thats a good thing. looking at them two days ago its like, "wow they were really bad" well at least it can only get better.

back from florida. wow, what horrible weather they have down there. i was in orlando, and it thunderstormed every day at around the same time. my music (eccles viola sonata and sevcik opus 1 part II) hasnt come yet from sheetmusicplus.com. what terrible service. very angry. dont they know that i have stuff to practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????? terribly angry about that. hopefully it will come soon.
