One heard lyrics and one heard melody

August 3, 2007 at 1:22 PM

Two guys from Texas came down to our Camp Meeting at Morning Star Ranch, Jackpot, NV. One of the songs they sang was a co-op.

Mike got the lyrics and Teddy Bear told him about a song that kept running through his head. Mike asked him to play it and reached into his file drawer and pulled out his lyrics. It was a match, "Laying at the Feet of Jesus."

The wild range fires are out and we had a great time last weekend.

Morning Star Ranch is in a hell hole gambling joint named Jackpot, Nevada on the border with Idaho, about an hours drive from my place.

Bo and Cathy raised their kids in a cow camp without electricity and then went to preacher school up in Oklahoma and started a 60 head ranch with a Christian Outreach.

They have church all over from Elko to Jarbidge and have a camp meeting once a summer which is fantastic.

Dwayne Williams and Mike Pair have a CD out called Come Worship with us - Texas Style and "I am not ashamed" is the 4th song on that CD. You may be able to pull them up with this info typed into Google.

Sorry, I put the wrong song title down. If your Mom wrote the awesome song "I am not ashamed" you should be very proud.
