Today before rehearsal started, I was watching the younger group practice. And I noticed something the impressed me quite a bit. One of the violinists had an arm prosthetic from the elbow down on her right arm.
I have enough challenges when playing the violin, and I have complete use of both arms. I can't even imagine some to the obstacles she has had to overcome.
Anyway, that was rather inspiring. I wish her well in her studies of the violin.

Last night at the college orchestra rehearsal, I was sort of volunteered to play in another orchestra. Now, I am playing in 4 orchestras (however one ends this week...). I hope it will be fun. Now, I just need to come up with good stradgies to avoid burnout....

Orchestra tonight was .... interesting ............ For the first 10 or so minutes, I was the only first (scary!). Somehow, I managed to make it through the first piece... By the time we got to the second piece, everyone else was there...
