Okay so remember when I said I wasn't nervous, well that all changed the day of the audition. I hadn't practiced my piece the night before so I practiced that morning. Well, I tell you, I messed up so much I wanted to cry. So I decided I wasn't going to go. But my mom said, "girl you better go there don't ever give up, you gotta fall before you rise." So ofcourse I went to my audition with a blah mood and guess not only did I get violin 1 but I was complimented by the conductor of the advanced players philharmonic. He had me site read a dvorak piece which was really hard. He said thathe'll be seeing me soon enough. Now just think if I didn't go to my audition, PHEW!!!

Oh yeah and my audition is tomorrow and I'm not even nervous. I was standing at the bus stop took out my violin and played for 12 people I have never seen before, that could be why I'm not nervous, lol.

I got a 100 year old violin that is worth alot of money and my $110 violin sounds way better than it, whats up with that? Do I need to break into it? Or is it maybe because I have been so use to hearing my violin that it just sounds beeter to me? No that can't be it, because some other people have agreed that my violin sounds better. So I don't know what the problem is.

So I am auditioning for violin 1 in the orchestra. I am happy. Besides playing the violin I also love to write. I babysitted last weekend and to my surprise found telling many stories. Ones about aliens and tings like that and during ths time not once did I think about the violin, weird. I guess you always separate the things you love.
