So, it's been a really, really, really long time since my last entry. Lo siento mucho or es tut mir leid or I'm sorry. It's been really busy lately and now I have some down time. School is over for me now, it's summer break and I'm excited. I'm working at International Music Camp in North Dakota this summer. It'll basically rock my face off, I'm pretty excited.
Just this last weekend we had Juries. Normally, I'm not too scared of Juries but this time around I was petrified. My tendonitous had been really affecting my playing up to then and it had been 3 days sinc I had even touched my violin. Even though I thought it went horribly I was given apporval for my Jr. Degree Recital in the Spring. I'm very, very, VERY excited. I'm playing it with a friend of mine, a violinist. However, he is sort of becoming our local Baroque specialist, so he'll provide the Baroque and I'll provide the romance, quite literally in fact. My centerpiece is the Dvorak Romance, I'll also be playing Kodaly's Adagio and of course a duet or two with my recital partner. At this point we're thinkin it'll probably be some Bartok duets.
So, that's my story and I'll see you around!
