It's been a while, especially since my name has disappeared from the list. Well, violin has been interesting. I'm working up my Bach C Major Sonata Largo for a memorized performance 2 weeks from today. Also, the week after thanksgiving break I have 2+ hour rehersals sunday thru wednessday and then I have 5 Christmas at Luther performances in 4 days. I'm not very excited for Christmas at Luther this year, our music is quite frankly, cheesy. They will be good to the audience, I'm sure they'll enjoy it. But to me, they're just not very good. But that's ok, it's not the televised one, so I'm not that concerned about it this year. Really, the two best pieces is the small portion of the Beethoven Mass in CM and the Fantasia on Greensleeves by Vaughn Williams.Well, I'm doing Music Education again. I'm excited that I've finally decided on what I'm going to do here in college. It's going to be very tough to complete in the next 2.5 years, it's about 11 or 12 extra classes. I'll more than likely graduate with my degree in music and finish my minor in music education the next semester with student teaching. I may also need to take a course or two over the internet or at at community college so I'm not overwhelmed by generals.
