Sometimes people one once revered; respect diminishes. And sometimes one not respected.... later revered.
The tricky part is knowing... understanding.
Avoid those who take... who diminish or compromise your quality of life! Avoid also those who put on a front, pretending to be someone who they are not..... avoid those who say one thing and do another.... They must be avoided at all costs!
Instead, surround yourself with those who empower you, who raise your standards, who support you, who ultimately make you a better person! And give to them, too!
Greetings,
you are so right.]
I think the otehr thing is to not try to change people. To work only on yourself and try and do everything from an origin of love is a powerful force for change that will work where necessary. Its where we try and help or chnage people while a little nagging voice in our consceinece is saying `no this is for you` that leads us to be precisely the kind of person you suggest we avoid.
The unique power of the universe is that like will only attract like.
Good one.

Buri, what about the theory that the contraries attract themselves. Joseph Gambala started a interesting blog about his playing that is different from what attracts him. I and another person replied and it was all about the theory that we want what is complementary to us. Musically or whatever! But your theory is true too. So, I guess it doesn't woth bothering about this!
Yes, never take friends who want to profite from you and don't return anything. I was stuck with such kind of friends when I was young and it was terrible. Now of course, I am more than happy that these people are out of my life and that I had the courage to go away from them!
