I've enjoyed reading everyone's blogs the last few weeks but just haven't had the urge to write anything myself. Reading blogs on v.com is now second on my list of must reads every day. I really do enjoy journaling, I just seem to have different levels of motivation to write depending on what's going on in my life.

Practice and rehearsals for the February children's concert are progressing nicely. We are have a "petting zoo" in the lobby of the performing arts center during intermission. A local music store is supplying the instruments and representatives from each section will talk about each instrument in the orchestra and let the kids experience making "music". Should be fun and I hope to get some good pictures.

I was in a training class a few months ago with a teacher from Philadelphia. I mentioned the documentary that Caeli Smith(alicelizard,C.Veronica Smith) was in- Rittenhouse Square. She had not seen it at the time but recently returned to teach another class in my area and brought me the DVD to watch. It is grand. I think we all realize how talented this youngster is, but I was totally impressed with her performance. She is one of the central characters of the film and plays 4 or 5 times -both solo and with other musical groups. Kudos to Caeli. What a resume builder!

OK, I'll bite: what's first on your list of "must reads"?

local paper and the Atlanta Journal Constitution - boring I know, but I've been addicted to newspapers since I was a child. I really love reading other local papers when we travel too. I think I must subconsciously be looking for a place to spend my next life.
