Hi all,
Today on Violin and Books is author/violinist Corinne Demas. She has written many books for children and is the Fiction Editor of The Massachussets Review.
If you get a chance and love violin-related fiction books, stop by to read her interview.

Hi,
I heard there's a violinist who was on 20/20 several years ago because she had to stop playing due to the fact that she cut her finger while cooking. Does anybody remember this story or who the violinist was? Since I'm new to the violin (5 years is new, after all) I don't know who she was but somebody from another violin group told me this story and now I'm really curious.
On another note, to promote the release of my children's book, The Magic Violin, I'm running a little contest this month. I'll be giving away $20 to a lucky winner on Christmas day. This is related to my December virtual book tour. Anyway, I thought I would mention it. Details can be found on my blog.

Thanks in advance!
