Tendonitis remedy found!

Hello,

I wonder why we still have problems with tendonitis and pain when playing. The cause is obvious, it's overuse and wrong use of the body parts involved. It's not enough to stop for some time (if one can do that at all, due to work demands!); when we start playing again in the same way the problem will come back.

Years ago I came across the work of Kato Havas, which is based on the physiology of the body, how the body works when we play. She developed a way to play without straining our body. I wonder why not more people use this information which is available, coming form a musician who was an acclaimed concert performer, whose work was praised by Menhuin, and who received the ASTA (American String Teachers Association) award for her work.

I am a huge fan of her new approach and I'm doing what I can to promote her work because I've seen myself that it WORKS, and in much shorter time I studied with her (about 1 year, taking occasional lesson) I completely changed my playing, improved much more than in the previous over 20 years. It's even more important for viola players than violin players.

Some players, affirmed professionals, go to see her sort of "in secrecy", because they don't want others to know they have problems. I see her work a bit like alternative medicine, that people start using when nothing else works. And her way DOES work.
