YES! The semester from hell is over! I took 19 credits last semester (the max is supposed to be 18, but I got the additional credit fee waived because the credit that pushed me over the max was pit orchestra, in which the music director specifically requested me) and it looks like I'm going to come out of the semester with all A's and one B (we got snowed out of my Music History final, which I have to take in January right before classes start). This is the best I've done since freshman year! Not that I've done badly in the past (about a 3.7 or so every semester), but this should really raise my GPA, which will be awesome for grad school apps.So over the winter break I'm trying to learn all my new rep. I'm doing a LOT of slow practicing so hopefully when I get back to school my lessons will focus on things not involving intonation or learning the notes. Speaking of which, I'd better go look at the Beethoven.
Happy holidays to all!!
