another breakthrough!!!!

such a simple one really: SLOW SCALES

i've been working on scales very slowly lately. metronome at 40 and doing half notes. then doing two quarter notes slurred at the same tempo. i do major and minor, 3 and 4 octaves, then i do octaves, 3rds, 4ths, 5ths, 6ths at 40bpm half notes.

after a month of this i'm noticing my playing is better than it has ever been. i play much more in tune and just feel more confident when playing.
