I've decided not to pursue violin performance as a career. I will focus on becoming the best private teacher and writing my own method.
Instead, I want to use my private lessons income to fund my own greyhound rescue. I've adopted one already, and she's amazing. I'm in process of adopting another from REGAP. These dogs need to get off the tracks, and they're so loving as pets.
Glad to see you've decided to go with your heart and something you know will make you happy in the end.
And yes, they are great dogs, I don't own one but have been around them and they are just like my dog tobey, a yorkie with three legs, the biggest yorkie ever though, pushing 14 lbs. He has a huge heart and personality. That's why when I think of greyhounds, I think of him. They have the biggest hearts, they're gentle, and still try to sit in your lap even though they're too big:)
good news for all the concertmasters out there.
better news for us that get to keep you around here :)
Congratulations for your contributions and saving animals from the cruelty... Everyone think about the human is horrible conditions but no one thinks about all the animals that are tortured by mankind... The animals really need more people like you. Personnally, when I will earn a living, I really want to give money to organizations that want to save animals and wildlife. (I know it sound like an easy or lazy solution but these organisations won't survive if no one gives them money...)
good luck!
